So many things get done best within a community. That’s why things like group fitness work. How can you apply community to your cell phone plan? By hopping on a plan with friends and/or family!

My family uses T-Mobile so we’ll use them as an example. Now the following information is based on the offer they have on their site as of 05/25/2020. That obviously can change depending on when you read this. Let’s use their Magenta plan for this example. If you have one line under that plan, it’ll cost you $70/month. 2 lines…each line is $60 a month. Every line you add decreases the amount owed by each line. If there are 5 lines on the plan, each line costs $32 for the same EXACT service. That’s $38 less a month which you get to SAVE!!!! That’s $456 a year.

This is why it PAINS me when a friend tells me they are on a phone plan by themselves. I don’t like my people to waste money.

The primary on the account will be technically responsible for the monthly payments and everyone else has to pay that person their share. Of course, you want all the people you’re on the plan with to be responsible so they pay on time. If the bill isn’t paid, your service can be cut.

• Find out what plan your trustworthy and responsible friends are on. They may have the same service you have. If not, you guys can choose which service provider to go with.
• Save money! The difference that you pocket, save or invest it.
