Tools For Financial Success

Podcasts

  • 1st financial podcast I started listening to and still listen to Jean Chatsky’s HerMoney. The episodes are 30 minutes long. She interviews other women in finance so you can learn the skills they’ve learned. She also answers community questions via her Mailbag.
  • Through HerMoney, I was introduced to ChooseFi. The hosts, Brad and Johnathan, were interviewed on her show. They are part of the FIRE (financial independence, retire early) movement. I especially like their podcast because they focus more on how to achieve financial independence. For someone who loves their job like me, I am not necessarily interested in retiring at 35. However, I don’t want my job to own me either so independence is key. They are all about actionable tips for getting there.
  • Popcorn Finance by Chris Browning is a short form podcast with episodes 15 minutes or less. This is a great option for everyone but especially those whose eyes start to glaze over when money talks go long.
